Shaping the Future of European Fisheries: we launched the LIFE Youth Network in Brussels!

On 12 and 13 October 2026, during the Make Fishing Fair Youth Summit, young fishers, shellfish gatherers, and community advocates from across Europe have officially launched the LIFE Youth Network,  demanding fairer policies, genuine support for new entrants, and a formal voice in shaping the future of European seas.

At LIFE, the Board of Directors and staff are delighted to support our young youth representatives in this new adventure, empowering them to shape a fairer, more sustainable future for European seas and coastal communities.
