De l\u00e5gp\u00e5verkande fiskarna i fiskbasbiyaget Kes\u00e4lahti (Finland)<\/strong>, deltog i Festivalen f\u00f6r nordiska fisjetraditioner<\/strong> organiserat av Snowchange Cooperative, ett n\u00e4tverk som st\u00f6der lokala och ursprungsbefolkningars kulturer runt om i v\u00e4rlden.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Den f\u00f6rsta festivalen h\u00f6lls i Finland 2014. Inf\u00f6r upplagan 2016 beslutade Snowchange och dess partners att arrangera festivalen vid Lenaelven i samh\u00e4llet Zhigansk, Republiken Sakha-Jakutien, Sibirien (Ryssland) fr\u00e5n den 1st<\/sup> till 5den<\/sup>\u00a0i september. Bland festivalens viktigaste deltagare fanns kooperativ och lokalsamh\u00e4llen fr\u00e5n Finland, USA och Ryssland.<\/p>\n

Festivalens aktiviteter och resultat omfattade bland annat:<\/b><\/p>\n

Rundabordssamtal och t\u00e4vlingar inom olika traditionella hantverk och fiske.<\/em><\/p>\n

Inr\u00e4ttandet av n\u00e4tverket \u201dSnowchange\u201d f\u00f6r det traditionella fisket i norra Eurasien som en grundpelare f\u00f6r det framtida arbetet i regionen.<\/em><\/p>\n

Ramavtal mellan avdelningen f\u00f6r biologiska resurser i Sacha-Jakutien, Ryssland, och kooperativet Snowchange om att utveckla nya metoder f\u00f6r f\u00f6rvaltning, \u00f6vervakning och traditionell kunskap i Zhigansk-regionen med syfte att fr\u00e4mja vatten- och fiskh\u00e4lsa.<\/em><\/p>\n

Beslut om att anordna den tredje festivalen f\u00f6r nordliga fisketraditioner i Khanty-Mansi, Sibirien, \u00e5r 2018.<\/em><\/p>\n
