Utkastet till projekt presenterades f\u00f6r \u00d6stersj\u00f6ns regionala r\u00e5dgivande n\u00e4mnd f\u00f6r samr\u00e5d i september 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Friska sillbest\u00e5nd \u00e4r av avg\u00f6rande betydelse f\u00f6r \u00d6stersj\u00f6ns ekosystem, men negativa trender har konstaterats i alla delomr\u00e5den av \u00d6stersj\u00f6n l\u00e4ngs den svenska kusten. Dessa omfattar en f\u00f6rs\u00e4mrad \u00e5lders- och storleksstruktur samt minskad biomassa och best\u00e5ndsstorlek. Syftet med detta vetenskapliga projekt \u00e4r att utv\u00e4rdera om rumsliga fiskerif\u00f6rvaltnings\u00e5tg\u00e4rder skulle kunna f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttra tillst\u00e5ndet f\u00f6r sillbest\u00e5nden l\u00e4ngs den svenska kusten.<\/p>\n<p>Ett f\u00f6reslaget unders\u00f6kningsomr\u00e5de i centrala \u00d6stersj\u00f6n ska anv\u00e4ndas f\u00f6r att testa \u00e5rliga fiskeribegr\u00e4nsningar f\u00f6r unionsfartyg som anv\u00e4nder sl\u00e4predskap f\u00f6r pelagiska best\u00e5nd, med undantag f\u00f6r fartyg under 24 meter som fiskar efter fisk avsedd f\u00f6r direkt m\u00e4nsklig konsumtion. Projektet, som genomf\u00f6rs p\u00e5 uppdrag av den svenska regeringen, kommer att fokusera p\u00e5 det svenska fisket, och de f\u00f6reslagna fiskebest\u00e4mmelserna ska genomf\u00f6ras som nationella \u00e5tg\u00e4rder enligt artikel 20 i grundf\u00f6rordningen.<\/p>\n<p>Projektet syftar till att utv\u00e4rdera effektiviteten hos \u00e5tg\u00e4rder f\u00f6r rumslig fiskerif\u00f6rvaltning och, om detta visar sig framg\u00e5ngsrikt, l\u00e4gga fram f\u00f6rslag p\u00e5 hur s\u00e5dana \u00e5tg\u00e4rder skulle kunna bidra till att f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttra h\u00e4lsan hos sillbest\u00e5nden i \u00d6stersj\u00f6n.
