Ett tjugotal personer fr\u00e5n l'Empord\u00e0, d\u00e4ribland hantverksfiskare, kockar, restaurang\u00e4gare, konsumentst\u00f6dda n\u00e4tverk, den anpassade ekonomins r\u00f6relse och lokala icke-statliga organisationer som \u201cThe Sepia Project\u201d, har g\u00e5tt samman f\u00f6r att bilda \u201cFoodnected Community of Practice i l\u2019Empord\u00e0<\/strong>\u201d, ett initiativ som fr\u00e4mjas av L\u00e5gintensiva fiskare i Europa<\/strong><\/a> och dess medlemmar Arts Menors Costa Brava<\/strong>, som en del av Foodnected<\/a> Projekt.<\/p>\n

Foodnected<\/a> \u00e4r resultatet av de gemensamma anstr\u00e4ngningarna fr\u00e5n flera organisationer med avsikt att bidra till att omvandla det nuvarande livsmedelssystemet i Medelhavsomr\u00e5det till ett mer r\u00e4ttvist och h\u00e5llbart s\u00e5dant. Projektet har s\u00e5ledes bidragit till att underl\u00e4tta framv\u00e4xten av livsmedelssystem med korta kedjor, b\u00e5de p\u00e5 land och till havs, som fungerar f\u00f6r naturen och m\u00e4nniskorna, och f\u00f6rt samman producenter och konsumenter genom lokala praktikgemenskaper, med grund i delade v\u00e4rderingar<\/a>. Projektet har omfattat flera pilotplatser i Medelhavsomr\u00e5det, varav en \u00e4r i l\u2019Empord\u00e0, d\u00e4r det mer konkret har bidragit till skapandet av F\u00e5ngad<\/a>, ett direktf\u00f6rs\u00e4ljningssystem och ett m\u00e4rke f\u00f6r kvalitet, h\u00e5llbarhet och r\u00e4ttvis handel f\u00f6r produkterna fr\u00e5n de sm\u00e5skaliga fiskarna i l\u2019Estartit, och har fungerat tillfredsst\u00e4llande sedan i juni f\u00f6rra \u00e5ret. Samtidigt har en grupp nyckelakt\u00f6rer inom den lokala v\u00e4rdekedjan i l\u2019Empord\u00e0 samlats.<\/p>\n

M\u00f6tet den 25:e var det f\u00f6rsta konstituerande m\u00f6tet f\u00f6r denna gemenskap av likasinnade (Community of Practice), d\u00e4r inte bara f\u00f6delsen av Empesca\u2019t firades p\u00e5 ett mer officiellt s\u00e4tt, utan det var ocks\u00e5 ett utrymme f\u00f6r de akt\u00f6rer som g\u00f6r denna modell m\u00f6jlig att l\u00e4ra k\u00e4nna varandra och reflektera tillsammans, nu som en grupp, kring n\u00e4sta steg och f\u00e4rdplanen f\u00f6r att uppn\u00e5 ett mer r\u00e4ttvist och h\u00e5llbart livsmedelssystem i Empord\u00e0-omr\u00e5det.<\/p>\n

\u201cI somras lanserade vi det h\u00e4r varum\u00e4rket och nu beh\u00f6ver vi allas samarbete, det \u00e4r d\u00e4rf\u00f6r vi s\u00e4ger att Empesca\u2019t inte bara letar efter kunder som kan servera v\u00e5ra produkter, utan efter samarbetspartners som kan vara v\u00e5r r\u00f6st ut till konsumenterna om det vi g\u00f6r till havs\u201d, s\u00e4ger Isaac Moya, sm\u00e5skalig fiskare och en av grundarna till Empesca\u2019t.<\/p>\n

\u201cFr\u00e5n LIFE har vi hj\u00e4lpt till att g\u00f6ra Empesca\u2019t till verklighet och vi \u00e4r mycket stolta \u00f6ver det arbete som fiskarna har utf\u00f6rt. Vi s\u00e5g dock att det var n\u00f6dv\u00e4ndigt att arbeta f\u00f6r att skapa samh\u00f6righet hos en community av m\u00e4nniskor runt omkring dem som f\u00f6rst\u00e5r och uppskattar det merv\u00e4rde som deras produkter tillf\u00f6r f\u00f6r att s\u00e4kerst\u00e4lla dess framg\u00e5ng och livskraft. Det \u00e4r d\u00e4rf\u00f6r m\u00f6tesplatser f\u00f6r reflektion som dagens, samt att sammanfl\u00e4ta alla akt\u00f6rers vilja och f\u00f6rtroende f\u00f6r att g\u00e5 fram\u00e5t tillsammans, \u00e4r mycket viktigt och inger hopp\u201d, s\u00e4ger Marta Cavall\u00e9, LIFE:s medelhavssamordnare.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2013 Genom att st\u00f6dja Empesca\u2019t skyddar vi lite av allt \u2013 fr\u00e5n konsumenten till milj\u00f6n \u2013 men framf\u00f6r allt skyddar vi denna nya generation av unga fiskare som vill g\u00f6ra saker p\u00e5 ett annat s\u00e4tt och har tolkat marknadssituationen p\u00e5 ett underbart s\u00e4tt, s\u00e4ger Jordi Jaques, kock p\u00e5 restaurangen El Mol\u00ed de l\u2019Escala.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
