{"id":9164,"date":"2017-11-22T12:22:01","date_gmt":"2017-11-22T12:22:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lifeplatform.eu\/?p=9164"},"modified":"2017-11-22T12:53:50","modified_gmt":"2017-11-22T12:53:50","slug":"bft-iccat-ssfs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lifeplatform.eu\/nl\/bft-iccat-ssfs\/","title":{"rendered":"BFT, ICCAT &amp; SSF's"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Historisch hoog blauwvintonijnquotum vastgesteld door ICCAT<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>De blauwvintonijnindustrie kreeg een meevaller in Marrakesh, met voorgestelde TAC-verhogingen voor de periode 2018-2020, met als hoogtepunt <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>in de hoogste TAC die ooit is vastgesteld.<\/strong><\/span> De TAC voor 2018 wordt met 4 500 ton verhoogd, van 23 655 ton in 2017 tot 28 200 ton, met een verwachte verhoging tot 36 000 ton voor 2020. Dit ondanks de onzekerheid over de omvang van het herstel van het bestand, onzekerheid waardoor de ICCAT niet van een herstelplan naar een beheersplan kon overstappen.<\/p>\n<p>Ondanks deze meevaller was de Spaanse industrie teleurgesteld over het resultaat. Zij beschuldigde de EU ervan niet te weten hoe te onderhandelen, gezien de aanvaarding door de EU van een kleine verlaging van haar TAC-toewijzingssleutel. Anderen beschuldigden de ICCAT ervan winst op korte termijn boven instandhouding op langere termijn te stellen, en de TAC-verhogingen als een schande te beschouwen.<\/p>\n<p>Met zulke relatief grote verhogingen van de TAC's in de komende 3 jaar, <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>het behoort tot de bevoegdheden van de lidstaten om op te treden en een quotum toe te wijzen aan de kleinschalige visserijsectoren<\/strong><\/span>die sinds 2006 het doelwit zijn van instandhoudingsmaatregelen.<\/p>\n<p>Interessant is dat de ICCAT erop heeft gewezen dat de behoeften van de ambachtelijke visserij in de verdragsluitende kuststaten (CPC's) in ontwikkeling <strong>een deel van de niet-toegewezen reserves van de ICCAT in 2019 en 2020<\/strong>.
