De resultaten zijn veelbelovend: de nieuwe apparaten zijn veel beter in het alarmeren van bruinvissen dan de tot nu toe gebruikte, <strong>waardoor de bijvangsten met maximaal 70% kunnen worden verminderd.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>De belangrijkste nieuwigheid is dat het \"PAL\"-apparaat, dat is geoptimaliseerd voor gebruik in de visserij, de specifieke waarschuwingen van bruinvissen nabootst door gebruik te maken van hun eigen ultrasone ori\u00ebntatie- en communicatiefrequenties.
