De gesprekken weerspiegelden een sector die navigeert door diepe onzekerheid. Van slinkende visbestanden en toenemende concurrentie om maritieme ruimte tot de versnellende gevolgen van klimaatverandering, uitsluiting van besluitvormingsprocessen en de groeiende uitdaging om jongere generaties voor het vak te winnen, kleinschalige vissers in heel Europa worden geconfronteerd met een snel veranderende realiteit.<\/p>\n
Toch kwam te midden van deze uitdagingen \u00e9\u00e9n boodschap met helderheid en overtuiging naar voren: kleinschalige vissers beschikken over een diepgang aan kennis, ervaring en praktische wijsheid die te vaak over het hoofd wordt gezien. Wanneer hun stem daadwerkelijk wordt gehoord en hun bijdrage naar waarde wordt geschat, worden ze essenti\u00eble partners in het herstellen van de balans tussen ecologische duurzaamheid, sociaal welzijn en economische veerkracht binnen kustgemeenschappen.<\/p>\n
