Ik heb een internationale achtergrond en heb gewerkt in Brazili\u00eb - waar ik oorspronkelijk vandaan kom - in Frankrijk, Hongarije en nu in Belgi\u00eb. Ondanks dat ik in verschillende sectoren heb gewerkt, was mijn laatste ervaring in het bankwezen, waar ik leiding gaf aan een team van financi\u00eble adviseurs voor Wholesale Banking-klanten. Ik woon in Antwerpen, op ongeveer twee uur van ons kantoor in Brussel. Ik ben getrouwd, heb geen kinderen (maar wel veel planten) en lezen is een van mijn favoriete bezigheden. Mijn oudere broer is visser in Alaska en enkele van mijn leukste jeugdherinneringen zijn die van zijn bezoekjes en het delen van foto's van het leven op zee.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hoe helpt je eerdere ervaring in de bedrijfssector je bij je werk bij LIFE?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ik denk dat ik in het bedrijfsleven verschillende strategie\u00ebn en instrumenten heb leren kennen voor een effectief beheer van hulpbronnen en een grotere effici\u00ebntie, die ik bij LIFE in de praktijk wil brengen om interne processen te vergemakkelijken, maar ook om ons netwerk van vissers te ondersteunen als ze financi\u00eble expertise en advies nodig hebben. Een ander doel is om LIFE te ondersteunen bij zijn strategie om langetermijnfinanciering veilig te stellen, iets wat ik in eerdere ervaringen al met succes heb gedaan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Wat was het meest interessante of verrassende aspect van het werken met de kleinschalige visserijsector sinds u bij LIFE werkt?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Het aspect dat me het meest verraste was zeker het feit dat kleinschalige vissers eigenlijk het grootste deel van de vloot en de beroepsbevolking in de visserij vormen, waardoor het opvallend is om te zien hoe ondervertegenwoordigd ze nog steeds zijn in de besluitvorming op EU-niveau. Wat ook verrassend is, is te begrijpen hoe ge\u00efntegreerd en verbonden de kleinschalige visserijsector is met het hele voedselsysteem en hoe groot de impact is die zij kunnen hebben als ze op de juiste manier bij de beleidsvorming worden betrokken.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Welke boodschap wil je delen met het LIFE-netwerk van vissers en partners in heel Europa?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">E\u00e9n boodschap die ik graag wil delen is dat ik samenwerking, openheid en transparantie erg waardeer. Dus voel je vrij om te allen tijde contact op te nemen met suggesties, idee\u00ebn, zorgen of feedback. Ik ben altijd bereid om met aandacht te luisteren en te werken aan een zinvolle en waardevolle samenwerking voor alle betrokkenen. Als Administratief en Financieel Ambtenaar is het mijn missie om er, samen met het hele LIFE-personeel, voor te zorgen dat alle leden van ons netwerk en partners in heel Europa zich gewaardeerd voelen en erop vertrouwen dat hun middelen worden gebruikt waar ze de grootste impact zullen hebben, om zo een duurzamere toekomst voor iedereen veilig te stellen.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We zijn verheugd Claudia Giulia Cantele Silva te verwelkomen als onze nieuwe Administratief en Financieel Medewerker.
