{"id":19957,"date":"2022-12-06T21:07:29","date_gmt":"2022-12-06T21:07:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lifeplatform.eu\/?p=19957"},"modified":"2022-12-09T16:59:58","modified_gmt":"2022-12-09T16:59:58","slug":"the-foodnected-community-of-practice-in-lemporda-is-born-to-join-forces-of-small-scale-fishers-restaurants-community-supported-schemes-and-other-key-players-towards-fairer-and-more-sust","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lifeplatform.eu\/nl\/the-foodnected-community-of-practice-in-lemporda-is-born-to-join-forces-of-small-scale-fishers-restaurants-community-supported-schemes-and-other-key-players-towards-fairer-and-more-sust\/","title":{"rendered":"De \"Food Connected Community of Practice in l'Empord\u00e0\" is opgericht om de krachten van kleinschalige vissers, restaurants, door de gemeenschap gesteunde programma's en andere belangrijke spelers te bundelen ten behoeve van eerlijkere en duurzamere voedselsystemen in het gebied."},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">25 november 2022, Sant Mart\u00ed Emp\u00faries (Cataloni\u00eb, Spanje)<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Een twintigtal mensen uit l'Empord\u00e0, waaronder ambachtelijke vissers, koks, restauranthouders, door de gemeenschap gesteunde regelingen, de Solidaire Economie-beweging en lokale NGO's zoals \"The Sepia Project\" hebben zich verenigd in de \"<strong>Foodnected praktijkgemeenschap in l'Empord\u00e0<\/strong>\", een initiatief gepromoot door <a href=\"https:\/\/lifeplatform.eu\/nl\/\"><strong>Low Impact Vissers van Europa<\/strong><\/a> en haar leden <strong>Kunst Menors Costa Brava<\/strong>als onderdeel van de <a href=\"https:\/\/foodnected.org\/\">Foodnected<\/a> Project.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/foodnected.org\/\">Foodnected<\/a> is het resultaat van de gezamenlijke inspanningen van verschillende organisaties met de bedoeling het huidige voedselsysteem in het Middellandse Zeegebied om te vormen tot een eerlijker en duurzamer systeem. Zo heeft het project bijgedragen tot het ontstaan van korte-keten-voedselsystemen, zowel op het land als op zee, die goed zijn voor de natuur en de mensen, en die producenten en consumenten samenbrengen via lokale praktijkgemeenschappen, gebaseerd op <a href=\"https:\/\/foodnected.org\/core-values\/\">gedeelde waarden<\/a>. Het project omvatte verschillende proeflocaties in het Middellandse-Zeegebied, waaronder die in l'Empord\u00e0, waar het concreet heeft bijgedragen tot de oprichting van <a href=\"https:\/\/empescat.cat\/\">Empesca't<\/a>, een systeem voor rechtstreekse verkoop en een merk van kwaliteit, duurzaamheid en eerlijke handel van de producten van de kleinschalige vissers van l'Estartit en functioneert naar tevredenheid sinds afgelopen juni. Tegelijkertijd is een groep van belangrijke actoren binnen de lokale waardeketen van l'Empord\u00e0 bijeengebracht.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De bijeenkomst van de 25e was de eerste constitutieve bijeenkomst van deze Community of Practice, waarin niet alleen de geboorte van Empesca't op een meer offici\u00eble manier werd gevierd, maar waarin ook ruimte was voor de actoren die dit model mogelijk maken om elkaar te leren kennen en samen, nu als groep, na te denken over de volgende stappen en de routekaart om te komen tot een eerlijker en duurzamer voedselsysteem in het Empord\u00e0-gebied.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\"Deze zomer hebben we dit merk gelanceerd en nu hebben we ieders medewerking nodig, daarom zeggen we dat Empesca't niet alleen op zoek is naar klanten, die onze producten kunnen serveren, maar naar medewerkers, zodat zij onze stem kunnen zijn naar de consumenten van wat we op zee doen\", zegt Isaac Moya, kleinschalige visser en een van de oprichters van Empesca't.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\"Vanuit LIFE hebben we Empesca't helpen realiseren en we zijn erg trots op het werk dat de vissers hebben verricht. We zagen echter dat het nodig was te werken aan de medeplichtigheid van een gemeenschap van mensen rondom hen die de toegevoegde waarde van hun producten begrepen en waardeerden om het succes en de levensvatbaarheid ervan te garanderen.
