Questa sovrapposizione pu\u00f2 far s\u00ec che gli uccelli marini vengano accidentalmente catturati dagli ami o impigliati nelle reti. Per i piccoli pescatori a basso impatto, queste catture accidentali di uccelli marini rappresentano un potenziale pericolo per la vita e l'incolumit\u00e0 delle persone.
