LIFE a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 une r\u00e9union de lancement du projet Round Goby au d\u00e9but du mois de f\u00e9vrier, en Lettonie. Ce nouveau projet est men\u00e9 par un consortium de partenaires dans le but de d\u00e9velopper une p\u00eache commerciale du gobie \u00e0 taches noires - une esp\u00e8ce envahissante - dans la mer Baltique. Les principaux partenaires sont des instituts de recherche scientifique de toute la r\u00e9gion, ainsi que des agences gouvernementales locales, des entreprises de transformation du poisson et des organisations de p\u00eache telles que le Danish FSKPO, la Latvian Fishermen's Federation, le Polish Darlowska Group et le Swedish SYEF. Pendant la dur\u00e9e du projet, LIFE et ses membres participeront \u00e0 la mise au point d'engins de p\u00eache pour cibler le gobie \u00e0 taches noires, \u00e0 la r\u00e9alisation de p\u00eaches exp\u00e9rimentales dans diff\u00e9rentes zones de la Baltique, ainsi qu'\u00e0 des travaux politiques avec des fonctionnaires et des repr\u00e9sentants des autorit\u00e9s locales, afin de discuter de ce qui est n\u00e9cessaire au d\u00e9veloppement de la p\u00eacherie. Lors de l'atelier de lancement, les partenaires du projet ont eu l'occasion de se rencontrer, d'examiner la planification du projet et de tirer parti de l'exp\u00e9rience de la Lettonie, qui est le seul pays de la r\u00e9gion \u00e0 disposer d'une p\u00eacherie commerciale de gobie \u00e0 taches noires.<\/span><\/p>\n
