Los pescadores de bajo impacto de la cooperativa Kes\u00e4lahti Fish Base (Finlandia)<\/strong>particip\u00f3 en la Festival de Tradiciones Pesqueras del Norte<\/strong> organizado por la Cooperativa Snowchange, una red de apoyo a las culturas locales e ind\u00edgenas de todo el mundo.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

El primer festival se celebr\u00f3 en Finlandia en 2014. Para la edici\u00f3n de 2016, Snowchange y sus socios decidieron organizar el festival en el r\u00edo Lena de la comunidad de Zhigansk, Rep\u00fablica de Saja-Yakutia, Siberia (Rusia) a partir del 1..st<\/sup> a los 5th<\/sup>\u00a0de septiembre. Entre los principales participantes en el Festival figuraban cooperativas y comunidades locales de Finlandia, Estados Unidos y Rusia.<\/p>\n

Entre las actividades y resultados del Festival cabe destacar:<\/b><\/p>\n

Mesas redondas y concursos de diversos oficios tradicionales y pesca.<\/em><\/p>\n

Establecimiento de la Red de Intercambio de Nieve de las Pesquer\u00edas Tradicionales del Norte de Eurasia como eje del futuro trabajo en la Regi\u00f3n.<\/em><\/p>\n

Acuerdo marco entre el Departamento de Recursos Biol\u00f3gicos, Sakha-Yakutia, Rusia y Snowchange Cooperative para desarrollar nuevos pasos de gesti\u00f3n, seguimiento y conocimiento tradicional en la regi\u00f3n de Zhigansk para la salud del agua y los peces.<\/em><\/p>\n

Decisi\u00f3n de celebrar el tercer Festival de Tradiciones Pesqueras del Norte en Janti-Mansia, Siberia, en 2018.<\/em><\/p>\n
