\"\"Aalborg, 4 de junio de 2024<\/strong> - LIFE est\u00e1 entusiasmada de formar parte de un consorcio de 16 socios de toda la Uni\u00f3n Europea, Noruega y Tailandia que se reunieron en Aalborg, Dinamarca, para lanzar oficialmente el Proyecto Seaglow y acelerar la transici\u00f3n del sector pesquero hacia fuentes de energ\u00eda renovables y bajas en carbono. La iniciativa, dirigida por la Oficina de la UE de NorthDenmark, pretende demostrar que, si se utiliza la combinaci\u00f3n adecuada de tecnolog\u00edas, la pesca artesanal puede reducir su dependencia de los combustibles f\u00f3siles y contribuir positivamente a restaurar los ecosistemas marinos y mejorar el bienestar de las comunidades pesqueras.<\/p>\n

\"\"El consorcio SEAGLOW dise\u00f1ar\u00e1, construir\u00e1 y operar\u00e1 cinco pilotos tecnol\u00f3gicos, incluida la sustituci\u00f3n de motores di\u00e9sel convencionales, en cuatro buques de Dinamarca, Estonia, Noruega y Suecia. LIFE participar\u00e1 en varias actividades del proyecto, desde tareas de comunicaci\u00f3n hasta la elaboraci\u00f3n de recomendaciones pol\u00edticas. Las fuentes de energ\u00eda m\u00e1s limpias son una prioridad absoluta en la agenda europea, con el objetivo indicativo para el sector pesquero de reducir la intensidad de los combustibles f\u00f3siles (en litros por kg de producto desembarcado) en >15 % de 2019 a 2030, con el objetivo \u00faltimo de la neutralidad de CO2 para 2050.<\/a>. Gracias al proyecto Seaglow, el sector de la pesca artesanal dar\u00e1 importantes pasos adelante para superar los retos normativos y t\u00e9cnicos que plantea el cambio al uso de fuentes de energ\u00eda m\u00e1s limpias y reducir la dependencia de los combustibles f\u00f3siles.<\/p>\n
