La t\u00e9cnica requiere que el arte se cale alrededor de los bancos de peces, que deben localizarse a ojo. Como la lubina tiende a asociarse con los bancos de salmonetes, \u00e9stos han llegado a representar una importante captura accesoria para los pescadores artesanales de salmonete, sometidos a grandes presiones. En los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, los bancos de salmonetes han disminuido, mientras que la presencia de lubinas ha aumentado en aguas neerlandesas. Como consecuencia, los pescadores de GNC capturan cada vez m\u00e1s lubinas.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-17189 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/lifeplatform.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/NL_gillnet-300x137.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"137\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lifeplatform.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/NL_gillnet-300x137.jpg 300w, https:\/\/lifeplatform.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/NL_gillnet.jpg 775w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Dado el poco tiempo que los peces permanecen en las redes, la calidad del pescado es muy buena. Como la \u00fanica propulsi\u00f3n necesaria es para localizar y rodear los bancos de peces, y como las redes son muy ligeras, el consumo de energ\u00eda es bajo. Otra gran ventaja de este arte para la pesca es que las capturas accesorias son relativamente bajas.<strong> La gran dimensi\u00f3n de la malla tambi\u00e9n garantiza que 99% del pescado supere la talla m\u00ednima de desembarque<\/strong>. Un caso claro de equipo adecuado, para el lugar adecuado en el momento adecuado.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, a pesar de estas ventajas, y a pesar del uso tradicional del arte y de los antecedentes de los pescadores de lubina en 2015 y 2016, las autoridades neerlandesas omitieron informar a la Comisi\u00f3n Europea y al Consejo sobre el arte. <strong>Por ello, los pescadores del GNC se quedaron estupefactos al verse excluidos de las artes permitidas para capturar lubina en virtud de las medidas de conservaci\u00f3n introducidas en 2017.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>La asociaci\u00f3n de pescadores netVISwerk, organizaci\u00f3n asociada a LIFE en los Pa\u00edses Bajos, se hizo cargo de su caso.<\/strong>. Gracias a sus intensos esfuerzos de presi\u00f3n, <strong>tres a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s, esta t\u00e9cnica de pesca tradicional fue finalmente reconocida e incorporada a la normativa en 2020 como arte permitido para la pesca de la lubina<\/strong>. Durante los 3 a\u00f1os anteriores, los pescadores que utilizaban la red de enmalle envolvente se han visto privados de una asignaci\u00f3n de capturas de lubina, sin compensaci\u00f3n alguna.
