El pasado 10 de enero, 2 a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s de su publicaci\u00f3n, entr\u00f3 en vigor el Reglamento de Control de la actividad pesquera de la Union europea<\/a> para los buques de m\u00e1s de 12 metros. A la pesca de peque\u00f1a escala, de menos de 12 metros, a\u00fan le quedan 2 a\u00f1os para su implementation, pero la mayor\u00eda de ellos se sumaron ayer a las protestas y a la parada general del sector de pesca de bajura espa\u00f1ol, preocupados por algunas de las medidas que les vendr\u00e1n en 2028.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

El sector ar<\/span>tesanal no niega la necesidad de un control efectivo, pero su malestar actual se debe a la excesiva burocratizaci\u00f3n y elevada carga administrativa que el reglamento supone y que -a la vez- puede suponer un alto riesgo a la seguridad mar\u00edtima. Cuando se public\u00f3 el Reglamento Control en 2024, LIFE <\/span>ya hizo un breve an\u00e1lisis del mismo<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

- Notificaci\u00f3n con 4 horas de antelaci\u00f3n antes de entrar en puerto: Para los buques que faenan cerca de la costa y realizan salidas que normalmente duran menos de 12 o incluso 8 horas, este plazo es dif\u00edcil de calcul, probablemente coincidir\u00eda con las operaciones de pesca y no aporta ninguna informaci\u00f3n \u00fatil al control, ya que, al menos en Espa\u00f1a, cada modalidad pesquera tiene su propio horario de salida y regreso al puerto.<\/span><\/p>\n
