Der Projektentwurf wurde den Mitgliedern des Ostseebeirats im September 2024 zur Konsultation vorgelegt.<\/p>\n<p>Gesunde Heringsbest\u00e4nde sind f\u00fcr das \u00d6kosystem der Ostsee von entscheidender Bedeutung, doch wurden in allen Untergebieten der Ostsee entlang der schwedischen K\u00fcste negative Trends beobachtet. Dazu geh\u00f6ren eine abnehmende Alters- und Gr\u00f6\u00dfenstruktur sowie eine Verringerung der Biomasse und der Abundanz. Mit diesem wissenschaftlichen Projekt soll untersucht werden, ob r\u00e4umliche Fischereimanagementma\u00dfnahmen den Zustand der Heringsbest\u00e4nde an der schwedischen K\u00fcste verbessern k\u00f6nnten.<\/p>\n<p>In einem vorgeschlagenen Untersuchungsgebiet in der zentralen Ostsee sollen j\u00e4hrliche Fangbeschr\u00e4nkungen f\u00fcr Unionsschiffe mit Schleppnetzen f\u00fcr pelagische Best\u00e4nde getestet werden, mit einer Ausnahme f\u00fcr Schiffe unter 24 Metern, die Fisch f\u00fcr den direkten menschlichen Verzehr fangen. Als Auftrag der schwedischen Regierung wird sich das Projekt auf die schwedischen Fischereien konzentrieren, wobei die vorgeschlagenen Fischereiverordnungen als nationale Ma\u00dfnahmen gem\u00e4\u00df Artikel 20 der Grundverordnung umgesetzt werden sollen.<\/p>\n<p>Ziel des Projekts ist es, die Wirksamkeit r\u00e4umlicher Fischereimanagementma\u00dfnahmen zu bewerten und im Erfolgsfall vorzuschlagen, wie solche Ma\u00dfnahmen zur Verbesserung der Gesundheit der Heringsbest\u00e4nde in der Ostsee beitragen k\u00f6nnten.
