LIFE nahm Anfang Februar in Lettland an einer Auftaktsitzung zum Start des Rundgrundelprojekts teil. Dieses neue Projekt wird von einem Konsortium von Partnern mit dem Ziel geleitet, eine kommerzielle Fischerei f\u00fcr die Rundgrundel - eine invasive Art - in der Ostsee zu entwickeln. Die wichtigsten Partner sind wissenschaftliche Forschungsinstitute aus der gesamten Region sowie lokale Beh\u00f6rden, Fischverarbeitungsbetriebe und Fischereiorganisationen wie die d\u00e4nische FSKPO, der lettische Fischerverband, die polnische Darlowska-Gruppe und der schwedische SYEF. W\u00e4hrend der Laufzeit des Projekts werden LIFE und seine Mitglieder an der Entwicklung von Fangger\u00e4ten f\u00fcr die Grundel teilnehmen, Testf\u00e4nge in verschiedenen Gebieten der Ostsee durchf\u00fchren und mit Beamten und lokalen Regierungsvertretern \u00fcber die f\u00fcr die Entwicklung der Fischerei erforderlichen Ma\u00dfnahmen diskutieren. W\u00e4hrend des Auftakt-Workshops hatten die Projektpartner die Gelegenheit, sich pers\u00f6nlich zu treffen, die Projektplanung durchzugehen und von den Erfahrungen Lettlands zu lernen, das als einziges Land in der Region eine kommerzielle Grundelfischerei betreibt.<\/span><\/p>\n
