Februar (8 Uhr)<\/p>\n<p>Betrifft: LIFE fordert die Umsetzung von Artikel 17 der GFP<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Seite 1\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p><strong>Ein Jahrzehnt der verpassten Chancen: Europas Gemeinsame Fischereipolitik nach 10 Jahren<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ein Jahrzehnt nach ihrer Verabschiedung wird die Europ\u00e4ische Kommission einen Bericht \u00fcber die Umsetzung der Gemeinsamen Fischereipolitik (GFP) ver\u00f6ffentlichen. Laut der Organisation \"Low Impact Fishers of Europe\" (LIFE) war dies ein Jahrzehnt der verpassten Chancen f\u00fcr die kleine Fischerei.<\/p>\n<p>\"Die handwerkliche Fischerei ist Teil der L\u00f6sung, nicht Teil des Problems\", sagt Marta Cavall\u00e9, die Exekutivsekret\u00e4rin von LIFE. \"Artikel 17 der GFP ist ein potenzieller Wegbereiter, wenn er vollst\u00e4ndig umgesetzt wird. Indem die Fischereimanager denjenigen, die nachhaltiger fischen, das Recht zum Fischen geben, anstatt denjenigen, die intensiver fischen, k\u00f6nnten sie die Art und Weise, wie wir in Europa fischen, ver\u00e4ndern. Das ist der Kernpunkt von Artikel 17\".<\/p>\n<p>Artikel 17 der Gemeinsamen Fischereipolitik (GFP) von 2013 bietet die M\u00f6glichkeit, die europ\u00e4ische Fischerei in die Zukunft zu lenken, die im europ\u00e4ischen Green Deal und im Ziel 14b der Vereinten Nationen f\u00fcr nachhaltige Entwicklung angestrebt wird: klimaneutral, wirtschaftlich tragf\u00e4hig, sozial gerecht, \u00f6kologisch nachhaltig und fair f\u00fcr die kleine Fischerei. LIFE appelliert daher an die Mitgliedstaaten, die Europ\u00e4ische Kommission und die Mitglieder des Europ\u00e4ischen Parlaments, die Gelegenheit zu ergreifen, Artikel 17 der GFP vollst\u00e4ndig umzusetzen und so den Weg f\u00fcr eine nachhaltige Fischerei und florierende K\u00fcstengemeinden zu ebnen. Dazu m\u00fcssten die Mitgliedstaaten transparente und objektive Kriterien \u00f6kologischer, sozialer und wirtschaftlicher Art entwickeln und ver\u00f6ffentlichen, und die Europ\u00e4ische Kommission m\u00fcsste Leitlinien und einen detaillierten Umsetzungsplan vorlegen und die Mitgliedstaaten verpflichten, j\u00e4hrlich \u00fcber die Fortschritte zu berichten.<\/p>\n<p>\"Man kann Dinge, die unterschiedlich sind, nicht gleich behandeln\", sagt der portugiesische Europaabgeordnete Jo\u00e3o Pimenta Lopes, Verfasser der k\u00fcrzlich angenommenen parlamentarischen Entschlie\u00dfung \u00fcber die kleine Fischerei in der EU und k\u00fcnftige Perspektiven. LIFE fordert die Gesetzgeber nachdr\u00fccklich auf, den Empfehlungen dieser Entschlie\u00dfung zu folgen und einen differenzierten Ansatz f\u00fcr die Bewirtschaftung der kleinen und der gro\u00dfen Fischerei zu w\u00e4hlen, wie in dem \"Aufruf zum Handeln\" von LIFE dargelegt. Die handwerkliche Fischerei in Europa bietet 50% der Arbeitspl\u00e4tze auf See und stellt 70% der Schiffsflotte. Sie macht jedoch nur 6% der EU-Fangmenge aus, was die geringen Auswirkungen dieser T\u00e4tigkeit widerspiegelt.<\/p>\n<p>\u00dcber Low Impact Fishers of Europe (LIFE)<\/p>\n<p>Die Plattform \"Low Impact Fishers of Europe\" (LIFE) ist eine europaweite Plattform mit 32 Mitgliedsverb\u00e4nden aus 15 Mitgliedstaaten, die rund 10.000 Kleinfischer vertreten, die sich f\u00fcr eine Fischerei mit geringen Auswirkungen einsetzen.
