{"id":19980,"date":"2023-02-01T15:54:14","date_gmt":"2023-02-01T15:54:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lifeplatform.eu\/?p=19980"},"modified":"2023-02-01T16:01:56","modified_gmt":"2023-02-01T16:01:56","slug":"life-calls-for-a-revision-of-the-baltic-sea-map","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lifeplatform.eu\/de\/life-calls-for-a-revision-of-the-baltic-sea-map\/","title":{"rendered":"LIFE fordert eine \u00dcberarbeitung des Ostseekartenprogramms"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Diesen Monat veranstaltete das Europ\u00e4ische Parlament eine <a href=\"https:\/\/multimedia.europarl.europa.eu\/en\/webstreaming\/committee-on-fisheries_20230123-1500-COMMITTEE-PECH\">H\u00f6ren<\/a> \u00fcber den Stand des Mehrjahresplans (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fishsec.org\/app\/uploads\/2016\/10\/Baltic-MAP-final.pdf\">MAP<\/a>) f\u00fcr die Ostsee. Interessenvertreter aus der Region waren eingeladen, ihre Standpunkte und Bedenken mitzuteilen, darunter auch LIFE, das durch eine Pr\u00e4sentation von Katarzyna Stepanowska \u00fcber die Kleinfischer in der Ostsee vertreten war. Sie berichtete \u00fcber den R\u00fcckgang des Ostseedorsches in der Region, der seit Jahrzehnten anh\u00e4lt.<\/p>\n<p>Bei der Anh\u00f6rung wurde deutlich, dass die Interessengruppen den 2016 angenommenen MAP zur nachhaltigen Bewirtschaftung von Dorsch, Hering und Sprotte f\u00fcr gescheitert halten. Jarek Zieli\u0144ski, Vorsitzender des BSAC (Baltic Sea Advisory Council), sagte, die BSAC-Mitglieder unterst\u00fctzten eine Reform des Bewirtschaftungsplans. Cathrine Pedersen Schirmer von der <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dn.dk\/home\/english-page\/\">D\u00e4nische Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Naturschutz<\/a> argumentierte, dass alle drei gesetzgeberischen Ziele der MAP nicht umgesetzt worden seien.<\/p>\n<p>Dar\u00fcber hinaus hat es das MAP vers\u00e4umt, die Kleinfischer angemessen zu sch\u00fctzen, die gemessen an der Zahl der Schiffe \u00fcber 90% der Flotte ausmachen und 65% der Arbeitspl\u00e4tze auf See stellen, aber nur 7% des Fangs erhalten.  Erschwerend kommt hinzu, dass 90 % der aus der Ostsee gewonnenen Fischbiomasse f\u00fcr die industrielle Verarbeitung bestimmt sind, haupts\u00e4chlich als Fischmehl und Fisch\u00f6l f\u00fcr Tierfutter.<\/p>\n<p>Vesa Tschernij von der <a href=\"https:\/\/www.simrishamn.se\/om-kommunen\/marint-centrum\">Meereszentrum der Gemeinde Simrishamn<\/a>, Schweden, wies auf den krassen Gegensatz zwischen der Nahrungsmittelfischerei und der Reduktionsfischerei hin und stellte fest, dass elfmal mehr Fisch ben\u00f6tigt wird, um das gleiche Einkommen aus der Reduktionsfischerei zu erzielen.<\/p>\n<p>Vor diesem Hintergrund fordert LIFE eine \u00dcberarbeitung des MAP f\u00fcr die Ostsee, um einen Plan zur Wiederauff\u00fcllung der Dorschbest\u00e4nde und Ma\u00dfnahmen zur Bewirtschaftung von Scholle und Flunder aufzunehmen, die an Bedeutung gewonnen haben, aber in der urspr\u00fcnglichen Fassung des MAP nicht enthalten waren.<\/p>\n<!--themify_builder_content-->\n<div id=\"themify_builder_content-19980\" data-postid=\"19980\" class=\"themify_builder_content themify_builder_content-19980 themify_builder tf_clear\">\n    <\/div>\n<!--\/themify_builder_content-->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Diesen Monat fand im Europ\u00e4ischen Parlament eine Anh\u00f6rung zum Stand des Mehrjahresplans (MAP) f\u00fcr die Ostsee statt.
