Omkring tyve personer fra l\u2019Empord\u00e0, herunder traditionelle fiskere, kokke, restaurat\u00f8rer, f\u00f8devaref\u00e6llesskaber, den solidariske \u00f8konomis bev\u00e6gelse og lokale NGO'er som \u201cThe Sepia Project\u201d, er g\u00e5et sammen om at danne \u201cFoodnected Community of Practice i l\u2019Empord\u00e0<\/strong>\u201d, et initiativ fremmet af Lavbelastningsfiskere i Europa<\/strong><\/a> og dens medlemmer Mindre kunstv\u00e6rker p\u00e5 Costa Brava<\/strong>, som en del af Foodnected<\/a> Projekt.<\/p>\n

Foodnected<\/a> er resultaterne af den f\u00e6lles indsats fra flere organisationer med det form\u00e5l at hj\u00e6lpe med at omdanne det nuv\u00e6rende f\u00f8devaresystem i Mellem\u00f8sten og Middelhavsomr\u00e5det til et mere retf\u00e6rdigt og b\u00e6redygtigt system. S\u00e5ledes har projektet hjulpet med at muligg\u00f8re fremkomsten af korte f\u00f8devarek\u00e6desystemer, b\u00e5de til lands og til vands, der arbejder for natur og mennesker, ved at bringe producenter og forbrugere sammen gennem lokale praksisf\u00e6llesskaber med udgangspunkt i f\u00e6lles v\u00e6rdier<\/a>. Projektet har omfattet flere pilotlokaliteter i Middelhavsomr\u00e5det, hvoraf den ene er i l'Empord\u00e0, hvor det helt konkret har hjulpet med oprettelsen af Fangede dig<\/a>, et direkte salgssystem og et m\u00e6rke for kvalitet, b\u00e6redygtighed og fair trade for produkterne fra sm\u00e5fiskere i l\u2019Estartit, som har fungeret tilfredsstillende siden juni sidste \u00e5r. Samtidig er en gruppe af n\u00f8gleakt\u00f8rer inden for den lokale v\u00e6rdik\u00e6de i l\u2019Empord\u00e0 blevet samlet.<\/p>\n

M\u00f8det den 25. var det f\u00f8rste stiftende m\u00f8de for denne praksisf\u00e6llesskab, hvor ikke blot f\u00f8dslen af Empesca\u2019t blev fejret p\u00e5 en mere officiel m\u00e5de, men det var ogs\u00e5 et rum for de akt\u00f8rer, der g\u00f8r denne model mulig, til at l\u00e6re hinanden at kende og reflektere sammen, nu som gruppe, over de n\u00e6ste skridt og k\u00f8replanen for at opn\u00e5 et mere retf\u00e6rdigt og b\u00e6redygtigt f\u00f8devaresystem i Empord\u00e0-omr\u00e5det.<\/p>\n

\u201cDenne sommer lancerede vi dette brand, og nu har vi brug for alles samarbejde, det er derfor, vi siger, at Empesca't ikke kun s\u00f8ger kunder, som kan servere vores produkter, men samarbejdspartnere, s\u00e5 de kan blive vores stemme over for forbrugerne om det, vi g\u00f8r til havs,\u201d siger Isaac Moya, kystfisker og en af grundl\u00e6ggerne af Empesca't.<\/p>\n

\u201cFra LIFE har vi v\u00e6ret med til at g\u00f8re Empesca\u2019t til en realitet, og vi er meget stolte af det arbejde, fiskerne har udf\u00f8rt. Vi s\u00e5 imidlertid, at det var n\u00f8dvendigt at arbejde p\u00e5 at skabe medvirkning fra et samfund af mennesker omkring dem, som forst\u00e5r og v\u00e6rds\u00e6tter merv\u00e6rdien af deres produkter for at sikre dens succes og levedygtighed. Derfor er refleksionsrum som dette i dag og det at v\u00e6ve alle akt\u00f8rernes vilje og tillid sammen for at bev\u00e6ge sig fremad i f\u00e6llesskab meget vigtigt og h\u00e5bsfuldt\u201d, siger Marta Cavall\u00e9, LIFE's middelhavskoordinator.<\/p>\n

\u201cVed at st\u00f8tte Empesca\u2019t beskytter vi en lille smule af det hele \u2013 fra forbrugeren til milj\u00f8et \u2013 men mest af alt beskytter vi denne nye generation af unge fiskere, som \u00f8nsker at g\u00f8re tingene anderledes og har fortolket markedssituationen p\u00e5 en vidunderlig m\u00e5de, siger Jordi Jaques, kok p\u00e5 restauranten El Mol\u00ed de l\u2019Escala.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
