Tidligere p\u00e5 \u00e5ret indhentede EU r\u00e5d og anbefalinger fra interessenter om \u00e5lestyring <\/span>efter ICES afgav r\u00e5dgivning<\/a> <\/span>om \u00e5lbestanden i Europa i november 2021 med anmodning om at indstille fangsterne.<\/div>\n

Som reaktion p\u00e5 dette har LIFE sammen med medlemsorganisationer\u00a0deltog i udviklingen af en<\/span> f\u00e6lles holdning gennem \u00d8sters\u00f8r\u00e5dgivningsr\u00e5det<\/a><\/span>\u00a0samt at udgive vores<\/span> egen position<\/a><\/span> hvilke detaljer m\u00e5ler\u00a0om at forbedre tilstanden af \u00e5lbestanden og samtidig holde fiskeriet \u00e5bent.<\/span><\/p>\n

Vi fokuserer p\u00e5 det, vi betragter som de mest effektive tiltag: en forbedret gennemf\u00f8relse af \u00e5leforordningen og prioritering af begr\u00e6nsninger, hvor \u00e5led\u00f8deligheden er h\u00f8jest. Desuden bifalder vi de foranstaltninger, der er truffet for at bek\u00e6mpe ulovlig handel med og fiskeri af \u00e5l, som allerede har f\u00f8rt til, at hundredvis af millioner glas\u00e5l ikke er blevet ulovligt opfisket siden 2016, og vi opfordrer til yderligere indsats.<\/p>\n

Fiskeri efter voksne \u00e5l til s\u00f8s ansl\u00e5s at udg\u00f8re 3% af den samlede d\u00f8delighed, og LIFE h\u00e6vder, at der er flere fordele end risici ved at holde denne del af \u00e5lefiskeriet \u00e5bent.<\/p>\n
