Repr\u00e6sentanter fra administrationen, forskere og milj\u00f8organisationer blev ogs\u00e5 inviteret til kongressen for at dr\u00f8fte sektorens fremtid sammen med fiskerne.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dr. S\u00edlvia G\u00f3mez<\/strong>, socialantropolog fra Det Autonome Universitet i Barcelona (UAB) og ordf\u00f8rende med ansvar for at dokumentere konklusionerne, fremh\u00e6vede, at form\u00e5let med kongressen var at \u201cforene kr\u00e6fterne\u201d, s\u00e5 det kystn\u00e6re fiskeri kan blive en effektiv lobby og \u201cdemonstrere, at kvaliteten af deres produkter er overlegen i forhold til mere industrielt producerede\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Personale og medlemmer af Low Impact Fishers of Europe (LIFE) deltog i arrangementet, hvor middelhavskoordinator Marta Cavall\u00e9 var inviteret som taler. Hun pr\u00e6senterede LIFEs Foodnected-projekt, et partnerskab mellem LIFE, Slow Food, Global Footprint Network og GoB Menorca, som s\u00f8ger at knytte sm\u00e5, lav-effekt f\u00f8devareproducenter t\u00e6ttere sammen med forbrugerne gennem deres f\u00e6lles etiske v\u00e6rdier (<a href=\"https:\/\/foodnected.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/foodnected.org\/<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>En af de vigtigste konklusioner p\u00e5 kongressen for de catalanske kystfiskere var behovet for at fremme den h\u00f8je kvalitet og b\u00e6redygtighed af deres fangster gennem et s\u00e6rligt udviklet m\u00e6rke. De opfordrede ogs\u00e5 til, at der tildeles en kvote af bl\u00e5finnet tun til deres sammenslutninger for at g\u00f8re det muligt for dem at mindske presset p\u00e5 mere overudnyttede arter.<\/p>\n<p>Kongressen var et initiativ af fiskerne selv, som et resultat af indsatsen fra de to foreninger \u201cAsociacion de Atuneros artesanales con l\u00ednea de mano\u201d og \u201cMedartnet-Spain\u201d, som begge er medlemmer af LIFE.
